"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

After reading Beep Me, I'm less sure. I didn't have either a D&C or a D&E because I was mostly delivered (they would have done one if they hadn't been able to fully deliver). I do remember not being able to bathe for a while though, and like I said, Jon basically giving me sponge baths.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Does Jilli read the Wall Street Journal?

No, but the StuntHusband sent me the article.

Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and other department stores are to carry a line of Victorian-style frocks by Los Angeles designer Sue Wong, with price tags as high as $600.

I have seen some of the sketches for these. I am not impressed. My vision of "Victorian-style" is vastly different then theirs, I guess. But hey! Mad Tea Party -themed jewelry! I'm all in favor of that.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Now that lunch time is just about over, what are people doing this weekend?

Tomorrow I am getting a massage (purchased through Groupon) in San Jose, then having an early lunch with G&J. I need to come into the office for about an hour at some point, plus a Costco run and a TJs run and lots of laundry.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

2 things that are kinda important to me

1- I get to do another guest blog at work. New Moon's coming out and the regular copy writer and I know nothing about it we could write, so I'm doing one on why women dig vampires.

2- Uhm...THIS IS MY DADDY!!! [link]

I'm really proud.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I know nothing about fixing cars, and have no place to fix them anyway--the apartment complex has rules about doing car repairs in the lot.

In my neighborhood, at least, the Autozone parking lot if full of people fixing their cars right there.

I think Jilli should be the spokesperson for Goth Disney.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

There is a big-ass sqirrel cavorting on my balcony. It's scampering up the hanging bicycle even. The cats finally realized it was there and are *fascinated* though I expect Kittenish to become less amused when she realizes that there is no way to actually catch and kill the tail flipper. Puppycat? Could be amused for hours just watching.
