Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

Now tagless for your comfort.

My sister and I are headed to Southern IN for a funeral. A friend's mother died suddenly this week. She's an only child and grandchild. We're going to provide some emotional support.

A member of my moms group just had her baby. She named him Dean Jensen. I think that name would be appreciated.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

She named him Dean Jensen. I think that name would be appreciated.

That's absolutely hysterical. I needed a laugh.

My head hurts so badly I want to hurl and cry. I can't believe it's a 4 day week and I am this badly off at the end of it. I need to call in working from home.

information libertarian

I had a baby Juniper born this week among my acquaintance; big sister Vivian. I also met a young man (a coffee shop server wearing a name tag) named Amirail today (with an umlaut over the second a. It's pronounced Ameer-a-eel, and is Arabic, according to him.

I can't think about babies right now without thinking of Jessica, though. I hope she is okay.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

This doesn't belong in the same post as happy birthday wishes.

I have a Meeting From Hell that has gotten so out of hand it has infected Fridays. I'm starting to see the problem after putting together the spreadsheet for it. I don't think the people this meeting is supposed to manage are used to being held accountable for getting done what they say they will get done by a certain date. They just do what they can, move everything else to a different date and forget the old deadline ever existed.

My Friday is going to look a lot like a Monday.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Poor ita. I hope you can get some relief.

brillig

I recently got The Cartoon Guide to Physics and The Cartoon Guide to Chemistry, and my god, my math skills, sucky to begin with, are utterly gone. I was trying to trying to work out the example of an acceleration formula and almost in tears at how stupid I felt.

What's a good resource for remedial algebra? Website preferred, because I don't think I should buy anymore books.

Because books.

Sparky, I hope that works out. She sounds a little abrasive to me.

A member of my moms group just had her baby. She named him Dean Jensen.

PLEASE tell me she's a Supernatural fan.

No pain ~ma to ita.
