Our wings are not tired.

DH is miserable in planes. Most he can't even stand up all the way. Our chiropractor friend insists that his group designed airplane seats to increase business. They seem to be comfortable for absolutely no body.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Nora:

My world is colliding again. The long-lost friend I had dinner with tonight...well, you might have heard of her. We hadn't seen each other for 15 years, and she found me on Facebook, and we had a very nice dinner tonight. She's Carol Blymire, heard of her? It seems in the few years we were out of touch she kind of became a foodie. ;) Now I have so many foodies in my life, it's bound to rub off. I might graduate from boxes of Annie's Mac and Cheese.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I need the footrests too. I loved loved them on the train. Even in coach I was so much more comfy with it. They sell a foldable one at Magellans but I haven`t tried it.

At desks and restaurants I solve the problem by sitting crosslegged but obviously I can`t do that on public transport unless the neighboring seats are empty.

Footrests are good. And like someone mentioned upthread, I always take the window seat so that I can prop up my foot on the wall.

Yeah, I'm always sad if I can't get a window, both for leaning against the side and my legs, as well as not being disturbed by people getting up to go to the bathroom.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am watching S2 of Criminal minds, and just got to the one with James Van der forehead, which I never saw all of.

He's nicely creepy, isn't he?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Obese people have the right to two seats for the price of one on flights within Canada, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled on Thursday.

Awww, the French skater is using the music from Amélie.

I used the last (sniff) of my Meyer lemons to make another batch of lemonade. Thanks javachik!
