I just said that you're pretty. Even when you're covered in...engine grease, you're... No, especially, especially when you're covered in engine grease.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Flying is a pain in the ass. I'm over my (once strong) affection for planes and now they're just a necessary evil.

I still have an affection for planes, but I don't like flying anymore.

I think I've flown four times since 9-11.

Punishingly Intricate

My gripe for the day is that the fucking doctor who did Bob's colonscopy has failed to send his doctor at Hopkins the pathology slides or the report from the test AGAIN today (after a week's delay due to snow and being off Monday and telling him they'd take care of it Tuesday). And she can't proceed with setting up a treatment plan for him until that happens. I'm so furious right now. And can't do anything about it because the doctor's office closes at fucking 3:30 or some shit. GRRRRRR

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

That's just awful, lisah! Really, REALLY bad care.

Our wings are not tired.

lisah, that is completely unacceptable. Can some Buffistas call and leave angry voicemails?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Love travel, hate flying. If I could teleport between airports (well, not most US ones--I think I hate all those) I would be a happier camper.

I just discovered some of the data problems are mine. But not the big one? Ugh. Suck.

A drink at a bar sounds like a great idea, javachik.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Ugh, lisah, how maddening.

That is actually one of my specialties! But he's taken care of it pretty well himself. And he's got the Hopkins doc's office on it and his primary care physician's office (who referred him to the assy ass doctor).

Sorry your days have had the suck too, Scrappy & javachik & ita! And everyone else who has had trouble today.

lisa, I don't mean to be weird, but my day was not sucky at all compared to what you and Bob are going through. But I wish you and Scrappy and ita could meet me downstairs - I'd buy you many drinks!

That would be seriously awesome!
