Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

What do you think his political leanings were?

He was calling for revolt by the American zombies, saying that there were still Americans willing to sacrifice their lives for freedom. It wasn't explicitly stated by naming people or organizations, but there was a Tea Party vibe to it all.

Our wings are not tired.

Really? I didn't get a Tea Party vibe. Maybe because he was very dismissive/insulting of GWB.

A lot of Tea Partiers do not want to be aligned with the current incarnation of Republicans and their spendy ways.

He just sounds angry at everyone.

If that's his screed, then he basically flew his plane into a building filled with people over employment taxes.

Angry and just enough crazy to drive a plane into a building.

He's a nutcase clearly. But, as someone who was audited 4 out of 5 years for simply following the instructions in NYS tax booklet, I can sympathize with his whole "I thought I knew how to read" argument. Not the rest of course.

I'm not sure what to make of the Tea Party movement. They seem to be anti-Obama, but not really pro anything.

And now our sales rep in Texas wants me to cold call one of the people there to seal the invitation for a presentation I didn't want to do in the first place. Obviously, she doesn't know about my resentment of the whole marketing/sales thing I've been dragged into, but does she really think someone in editorial with no experience at this is the best person for the job?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

not really pro anything

It's so much easier to say "This person/government program/tax SUCKS!" than it is to say "This whatever SUCKS and here's how I can make it better/replace it."
