We had a bit of a snowpocalypse overnight. We got about a foot of snow and more to come today. Almost everything in the world is cancelled, but not the government! So here I am at work.

Yeah, it's nothing really. Except that to save money, the city doesn't plow side streets until the snow is done. It makes it pretty hard to get around.

sumi, I fell into a snowbank on my walk to the pool last night, you have my sympathies.
The city never plows my street. I think I am actually ok with this now. We did a better job than they ever would.
I'm waiting on a UPS delivery of stair treads to avoid the neck breaking ice that sometimes forms on my steps.
I guess I am one with you all.
