Woot. Just had my performance review which was very complimentary. With the year I have had and the amount of time I have worked from home, it is nice to see that they feel I still did a good job.
No clue how that will translate into $. I'm pretty sure salary setting has already been done, but it doesn't go into affect until April 1st. But ya know, whatever. I have a job that I like and I work with some pretty cool people.
That's true. Usually we had an ASM go around and charge all the glow tape before a show.
ugh, yes. Such a pain in the ass.
Celebrate Pancake Day with Great Recipes and Easy Hacks
In much of the rest of the English-speaking world, today is more Pancake Day than Mardis Gras. Break out the flat pans and mixing bowls and get ready to enjoy breakfast for dinner
Heh. [link]
Oh, that's a good idea - cakes and eggs for dinner.
I made pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon for dinner Saturday night. Always popular with the family, though I made the batter too thin and my pancakes weren't as thick as normal. More like your average IHOP thickness instead.
I forgot today was Fat Tuesday, so I didn't stop by the Polish bakery for pazckis this morning. However, someone else did, so I was able to get one before they ran out.
Last night's pairs skating was painful to watch, what with all of the falls, etc. The only real standout for me was the one by the second-ranked Chinese team, Pang and Tong. I loved their music (the rest of the evening was soporific to listen to), their skating was almost flawless, and they were just so happy to do so well. An excellent routine, all in all! Second faves were the German team, who for all of their jumping mistakes had nice chemistry on the ice.
I did pancakes and sausage for dinner last night, because I meant to have that for breakfast but couldn't bring it all together until dinner time.
Pang and Tong were my standouts, too, Kathy. So glad they medaled. It was getting weird how, as soon as the announcers would say "and here's their triple [whatever jump]", somebody would fall, but it wasn't that long ago that women just never even tried triples, so ... I don't know where I was going with that. We're in a bit of a transitional time inpars skating, I guess.
I was all psyched up to Get Stuff Done, and was thwarted by technology! Now I have to wait for someone to email me back...
