Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Secondary triage ER nurse win. She asked how my sister was doing.

If you're going to be in there all the time, you'd better become a regular! I mean really.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

He was clearly trying to make himself as small as possible, but it was a very squished trip. I wonder if they would have kicked him off?

No, because it's not "his fault", it's just the way he's built, unlike fatties, who could lose that weight just like that, if they really wanted to! Because being fat is awesome and the only reason people stay fat is because how great it is.

ita, I totally hear you about the horribleness of people in your space- I hate it too, my point was just that it's not just fat people who do it, and it sucks no matter what the reason.

Man, I'm grumpy today. I don't know why- I'm at home.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Colbert has spent some time in Canada before: four months in Toronto in 2002, working with Ken Finkleman on a pilot for a U.S. version of The Newsroom (which was never picked up);

Huh.

That "using chocolate to measure the speed of light" also requires a microwave.

Random science/technology quiz question:

True or False? - the first radars used microwave radiation.
