Sue are you being un-Canadian again?

It was more that I was in the kitchen cooking and couldn't leave my cheese sauce to change the channel. But I do flick around a bit to see the different coverage.

I got to watch coverage on CTV today at my sister's but I don't have it at home and NBC is KILLING me. I really became dependent on CBC and I'm so sad there's no CBC coverage.

CTV is kind of awful. Especially in the AM when there's no sports to speak of. It's a consortium of networks covering it, there's VJ's and entertainment reporters talking about all the partying in Whistler.

Ah shit, I think a tooth is developing a fracture. Like I need this when I need to repoint a shitload of mortar.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am now officially scared to fly! I don't want to get kicked off!

I have to say I hate the buses that have the cushy seats with the handrests, rather than the non handrest metal seats. Although I would rather sit next to another fat lady than the damned tall skinny high school boys with the wide stance!!!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ah shit, I think a tooth is developing a fracture. Like I need this when I need to repoint a shitload of mortar.

That sounds like it ought to be doable as combo....

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

If even Canadians are watching NBC's coverage, I guess the terrorists really have won.

Things I have learned today: Even instrumental versions of "Who Wants to Live Forever" make me weepy.

Happy Year of the Tiger everybody!

Hah!

I'm hoping me and the neighbors can get a group rate on repointing. A's mortar hasn't seemed to have leaked, but she has to replace her downspout. My downspout is fine, but I'll have to rip it down to repoint. B2, poor man, needs both. B1 discovered bricks half eroded, though he has no damage just a freaky ass ice wall. So I totally think we should go in together!

They can't help with my shitass teeth, though. Unless they need a dentist... (I and a referral get a $25 discount.)

Also, I'm thinking I might need to volunteer to be block captain in our neighborhood association. I kinda flail at the idea because I don't know the resources, but I seem to have made myself a common point of contact for people who didn't know each other before the storm. I dunno. Really even further outside my comfort zone.

Oh, I am back watching CTV. It was a temporary thing.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Repointing mortar, repointing a tooth...

I once was seated next to a guy who was apparently a professional athlete. (He was wearing a flashy championship ring, and people obviously recognized him. I am not only sports impaired, but also generally impaired at recognizing celebrities.) He was in no way overweight, but he was huge. The plane was packed, so I assume it was the only available seat. He was clearly trying to make himself as small as possible, but it was a very squished trip. I wonder if they would have kicked him off?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I like both The Notebook and Lars and the Real Girl and recommend them!
