We stopped at the hardware store and I got spare keys made. To give to my neighbors in case I lock myself out (I've been regaled with several lock out stories.) One'll go to the stay-at-home mom.

Couple are coming over for coffee in a minute. Only fair since I've seen the inside of everyone elses'!

Learned that this place was essentially unlocked for the better part of a year! They used to come by and set out bug and mice traps!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sara, you sure got lucky with your neighbourhood.

TV Shows on the bubble. Makes it sound like everything non-reality is about to be cancelled.

I've just discovered that my new, trial, phone is very nifty for Youtube vid-watching. So I'm surfing Leverage vids. Why do people keep shipping Eliot and Parker? It's starting to hurt my feelings. I will cut off the hair if he messes with that.

OK, I've officially had too much coffee. I have the jitters.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Eliot and Parker only works if there is also Hardison.

seemed to disqualify it, at least for the people who pay attention to the words. Anthem would have been a way better choice for many of Hallelujah montages I've seen.

Nah! I figure you can interpret it as the triumph of the spirit as this temporary thing that is never the less important and awesome. Or something.

Once when I hadn't slept in a few days, I considered starting a religion based on Cohen lyrics.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

More food used up. Bags about half packed. Mac did some of his homework so we wouldn't have to take all his books. I ran out for med and more cat litter. Now loading up the iPods with new podcasts for me and new movies and tv shows for mac. t-minus about 3 hours until we cab to the airport.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I just saw the We are the World remake. My review:

Jennifer Nettles? Dead person? WTF? Rappers best part.

I couldn't even tell you how old I was before I learnt there was a Winter Olympics. Seeing mention of just "Olympics" at this time of the year still confuses me.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I decided I needed to get out of the house, so I hopped in the car and now (2 hours later) I am sitting in a sushi restaurant in Saratoga.

That wasn't really in the plan for the weekend but oh well

Driving out to TJs and dealing with most roads reduced to one lane each way, dealing with the mall parking lot and it taking twice as long at least, as usual, riding caffeinated jitters was kind of Not Good.

This whole week has been ... intense. I think I'm coming down off the adrenaline and nerves that fueled me through it and it is a little rough. I only went into work ONCE last week. I've spent full days outside doing heavy labor, except the day trapped inside due to the second blizzard. I've spent my evenings socializing with people. I've got water damage and I'm pretty sure I haven't processed that fully. I haven't thought about anything BUT the weather for over a week.

I just read the Monday/Tuesday forecast, and while it isn't bad, I just had this sense of crushing doom about the roof that is really misplaced and burst into tears.

A little better now. I need some normal back.

It's odd, but I think my life just made another shift, thanks to the weather. Certainly was a rite of passage in terms of owning a home.
