Oh, some of you will appreciate this: Dr. 90210 is terrible dinnertime TV, but I couldn't resist an old one with Dr. Will!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Hey, did you ever use those buttons I sent? I want pictures!

Not yet! I'm waiting for the perfect jacket or skirt. I may make a "plain" black version of the ruffled skirt I always make and use the buttons on it.

Nielsen identified three distinct groups of DVR users based on how much they time-shift:

Heavy Shifters are primarily middle income women, ages 18-49, who record and later watch nearly 26 hours of television– or about half of their TV viewing – a week.

Oh, this is totally me. If I have to actually sit through a commercial break, I'm usually pulling something off of my dvr to watch for a few minutes before going back to the live tv show.

Tofu-making: well, I've learned what not to do. Getting lazy about the stirring will end with clumpy tofu. Most of it is still usable, but there are a few overly clumpy bits that I had to just cut out. Also, next time, I'll definitely make a half recipe -- this made a whole loaf pan full, and I really can't use quite that much tofu.
