Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Mmm. Last I checked, working in a helping profession doesn't mean you need to cede good business practices. It's still a business if you're getting paid, whether you're cleaning out someone's emotional gunk or their air filter.

I can't actually measure the snow depth because the wind is helpfully blowing off my kitchen roof. The level has dropped in the past hour. Let's hope it is doing that on the main as well.

I'm going to be really pleased when the weather isn't occupying 90% of my brainspace. Which won't be for about a week. There's more weather predicted monday.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Dinner did not work quite as well as lunch. Chickpeas, canned tomatoes, and frozen spinach, cooked with some garlic, onions, and curry powder. It's food, but nothing great. And that's the end of my canned tomatoes. I should be able to get to a store tomorrow, I think.

We are home. Snow in the face for a few blocks, but nothing too bad. Enough has melted on sidewalks and at corners that it is going to be an icy mess in the morning. wet wet wet wet snow.

I'm confused by this story. [link] A supermarket was left unlocked, with no employees there, but no one's quite sure how. People took some stuff, or maybe not. The people who took stuff left money, or maybe they didn't. There wasn't much stuff left, anyway, since they haven't gotten any deliveries all week.

Y'all! Someone built an IGLOO (or a cave, really) about 3 doors down. I saw this shining light and was afraid there was something on fire. Yes, there was. A candle in a CAVE! SERIOUSLY.
