We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Shrift - sounds like Chicago got twice as much snow as DeKalb.

And twice as much as Aurora which explains my snow day today.

We got caught in the lake-effect snow up here in the NW 'burbs as well, so we ended up about 10-12 inches. I had about 4 on my car yesterday morning, another 4 when I left work last night, and another 2-3 this morning. It was nice seeing the sun when I got on the road today!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Kathy, are the roads up there clear?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The snow stopped falling -- it's all moving sideways now.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Smonster, I'm sure my wife (Emily) will want to talk biz with you once we get up to the area.

Great! I'd love to. Looking forward to meeting you, too. We'll have to have a get together.

I just used the last of my dish detergent.

Got any Dr. Bronner's?

Swish some water in the bottle. I can usually get a couple of days, at least, from that.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I've been using the kind in the little dissolvable packets.
