Stay safe and warm wishes for the snow bound.
Pay up, stingy parent-bastards
Seriously! I was rolling my eyes at DH because he has taken to tipping more than usual. When I questioned his generosity he explained that we were eating out less often as is everyone else and the staff could use the extra to make up for the empty tables. This would be one of the reasons I've been married to him for 20 years.
It's another reason I wish I was married to him for 20 years!
MM! Your wife is flirting with my DH again!
Next month is our official 20 year married anniversary. I really need to make a plan. He says it is contract renegotiation time.
The last batch of pancakes got kind of burned. Boo. (The spices are also a little wrong, because I realized after I started making them that I didn't have any ginger, so I just put in some extra cinnamon. But still. Pumpkin pancakes!)

He would say, "Sweet. That means DH won't notice if I flirt with you."
Sigh. My cutie-pie redheaded lumberjack water guy is here.
That is really sexy, Laura. Much better than the assholes who think berating the waitstaff a sign of sophistication.

Sweet. That means DH won't...GODDAMN YOU, AIMS!
I suspect you may have found a keeper, Laura.
Aaaaaand, the snow has started in Boston. Can't tell how bad it is because of the wind and all.
Your DH is awesome, Laura.
One snippy employer has emailed me back with, "well, of course we're going to pay her, we just don't know what to pay her! We don't believe everyone is paying full price!"
No, only reasonable people are. Unreasonable people are looking for an excuse to weasel out of their deal.
Moving on: Know what's cute? A baby snoring.
