Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

And this Australian Open it looks like his countrymen picked Federer to cheer for over him.

Well c'mon, it's Federer. I might love Hewitt's name, but I just love Federer.

New Guy should totally be a skit on SNL!!

Or a character on The Office.

Because books.

I just got back from my massage. As god is my witness, I will never go massage-less again!

I will note that usual benefits touted for telco dereg, cell phones, broad band and so forth were achieved in many other nations WITHOUT dereg. Dereg is one path, and a lot of nations took it, but there are other paths that work as well or better. I will note that broadband in the U.S. is slower than in many other nations, and is not available everywhere

Just a note, and I know deregulation is not a riveting topic, had the Bush Administration not reclassified cable and telephone lines in 2002, telco deregulation probably would be delivering better service. The 2002 legislation made it so that cable and telephone lines didn't have to be able to be leased out to competing ISPs and therefore removed a lot of competition from the market.

Crap, even when I'm trying to make a case for conservative policy I end up blaming Bush for stuff. OTOH, there are plenty of conservatives who weren't happy with the Bush admin.

As god is my witness, I will never go massage-less again!

As it should be.

I'm trying to con myself into braving the outdoors. Need to see if the pharmacy has my stuff ready, find lunch, and maybe a cupcake.

Felicia Day Light Saber Fight

I stumbled across this by accident. It's exactly what it sounds like, but the video is lame overall.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

My friend who's a massage therapist is offering a special on a 90-minute massage, rose wrap, and guided meditation (optional). I think I may treat myself. I've had massages from her before and she's goooood. And all around a wise and calming presence, with occasional bouts of delightful mischief.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm trying to hold off on using my spa combo-pack Groupon, but it's haaaarrd.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh, I so aspire to be smonster's massaage therapist. In spirit, if not in actual application of hands.
