Mal: Well, you were right about this being a bad idea. Zoe: Thanks for sayin', sir.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Happy birthday, SuziQ!

ION, I am at work with the intention of working for a few hours, then taking my poor, snotty-nosed kid home early. Unfortunately I fear that it will be hard to work with him once I'm home.

Things that keep me from working: my tendency to waste time on the internet when I have only an hour or two to myself. Oops.

Although having an uber-British name doesn't necessarily guarantee that someone's English: eg, Lleyton Hewitt.

He is from a Commonwealth country, though.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm mostly just amazed somebody was actually named Drusilla.

Isn't Lleyton Hewitt an uber-Welsh name?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

He is from a Commonwealth country, though.

It's like the Nigel thing. Odds on, British or black Commonwealth.

A very famous couturier. To the Queen, no less.

See also, Oona.

I don't have strong feelings about the new Facebook page layout, but I do have string feelings about the lack of it actually working right. It's a good thing it's free, I suppose.

Hewitt shows up in England, Wales, and Scotland. Looks to be most common in the north of England.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Yay! My teacher just emailed us with an "URGENT" in the subject line--class will consist of us working from home tonight and putting together a worksheet of what we learned from the reading for the past two weeks. The snow didn't worry her, but the blizzard-like wind predicted for tonight did.
