Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I'm working from home. Finally exchanged the PJ's for outside clothes. I may take myself out to lunch.
CJ gave me his gift this morning - Tim Burton's 9. I haven't seen it yet but promised CJ I'd wait til he is home to watch with me. KCD called this morning to give his wishes and asked if CJ had given me my prezzie. Then he goes on to say that he had looked for a DVD of Wicked (ummm, hello, Broadway) but figured I'd like anything Tim Burton related (not usually a wrong assumption).
Amy - I had a couple of cups of the fancy breakfast tea. NUM!!! And somehow the box of dark chocolate blueberries is empty. Not sure how that happened.
I just had an hour conference call from home on speakerphone and the phone's battery was only down one bar. Thank you, Perkins. Not living on the edge like with the previous phone.
Now off to office.
Happy birthday, Suzi!!
In less happy news, I just learned they probably won't be interviewing for the new position I want (in another group, thank dog) as soon as I'd like. Which means I have to keep playing nice and probably agree to yet another business trip.
The upside: I may be in MD the last weekend in February if DC/Baltimore peeps are around.
Dear People,
If you do not come to the meeting, we decide when your stuff will happen. If you want a say, you have to show up.
Which is to say, we discussed that request 2 weeks ago and decided it wasn't a priority. Sorry.
No I'm not,
Me
I am sooo sleeeepy. For no good reason. I need to perk up before my Big Boss meeting!
Facebook lies like an SOB about "new" posts on their feed. I do love redesigns that make things less functional.
If they are nice scientists at JHU, they can always walk to my place.
Hit up lisah's Giant and the liquor store. Me and my cats will be happy.
Flakes starting to fall, telecomutting commencing.
OK, I was just noticing that Dana. I have had the same "New" status at the top of my live feed since this am!
It's not really Tim Burton's movie, though. He just produced it.
I've got a British magazine from 1962 and the society page covering a benefit event has the
best
batch of uber-British names.
