Food - what is for lunch today?
I will probably ride my bike to downtown Evanston and go to Potbelly and get an Italian sub.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Holy shit, really? The Super Bowl was the most-watched TV show ever: [link]
I actually think people at work assume that I am a closeted lesbian because I am not married and don't really date.
I lost my first job out of college because the Conservative Christian management decided I must be a lesbian and thus not someone they wanted to work with. Before the firing I got a nifty short haircut and was called into the office and lectured on "proper appearance." So getting canned wasn't a huge surprise, and as job losses go, I don't really regret that one. At my current job there are several people out of the closet. We recently held a baby shower for a woman and her wife when they had a baby. I like my current job much better than my first. If anyone here is assuming I'm gay, they're probably shrugging and going on with their lives.
My parents also started making comments about loving me "no matter what," and how my roomie was like a daughter to them after I had the same female roommate for 8 years.
I just realised there's no point making plans for lunch, since today is team appreciation day, and we're being fed. Now all I can do is wonder...with what?
Turns out the guy who was having difficulty typing "exchange" into his browser has a brain tumour. He wasn't able to read things back off his screen to the support guy. So they had his wife work with the support guy instead, and she'd never used a computer before in her life.
That whole configuration confuses me.

Brunch frittata! Chop up a small potato and some onion. Brown in bacon fat for about 10 minutes in a small skillet. Mix eggs, cheese, spices and breakfast meat (in this case, chopped bacon) in a bowl. Mix potatoes with onion mixture, then pop in the onion for 10 minutes at 350. Mmmmm.
I have sushi for lunch. Why isn't it lunchtime yet?
I have leftover couscous with turkey bacon. Nummy.
Sophia, here's an article from Dissent critical of Zinn: [link]
And bookwise, Bob says Paul Johnson's A History of the American People is a direct response to Zinn that is supposed to be good.
