I thought they were locked, too!
I am happy you were both wrong!
Other thing that made me happy today: I found some men's boxers at Target today with non-cutesy skull and cross bones on them that will make great warmer weather inside pants for only $5.00
one bed made and mac's stuff gathered. beer break. should probably eat something too. maybe chips and dip.
I just finished my taxes. I liked Turbo Tax a lot better than TaxAct. I am using my refund to buy socks (some possibly in yarn form) and underwear (the boring kind)
Bah - our doorbell just rang and the guy said "UPS" so we buzzed him in. Five minutes later a Chinese menu was slid under the door. FAIL.
Sheesh. Fluids still running. Such is the downside to tiny veins.
A
downside. I asked them to let me go home anyway. It's been almost 12 hours.
UGH, ita. I hope you can go home soon, and not have to go back for a while.
We tried to shovel my friend's car out. But after an hour (she's back in an alley, so we had to also shovel out BEHIND the car), she was still just spinning her wheels, though we got the car to move about ten feet. SO we ended up exhausted and soaked for no good reason, in piles of snow chest high.
Finally we walked several blocks down (past the people snowboarding down the street next to the house, which is a hill) and managed to get a cab, to take us to the place in another neighborhood where we bought wings. And then while we were in that neighborhood, we decided to buy a dozen cupcakes too. So we have superbowl food! If anyone comes. :) A couple people live in the neighborhood and will walk.
I'm still praying I can get to the airport tomorrow, and my flight will be there, and go.
USA is showing an SVU "Man-athon." They say these are the most manly episodes of SVU, or something. So far, it looks like manliness means either police brutality or Stabler taking off his shirt.
I've got Puppy Bowl on--love the bunny cheerleaders and the guinea pig blimp pilots!
