Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

I have snowblower envy. Actually, let me revise that: I have bobcat envy. I'd love to have one to clear the street.

Our wings are not tired

Bobcats are actually tricky to drive and very prone to rollovers.

Still fun though.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I used TurboTax initially and liked it, but I've since switched to H&R Block because I think it handles stock things better. TurboTax was double-taxing me for exercising my stock options or something. In any case, I always plug my info in both programs to make sure there's no difference.

I use an accountant.

Everyone's snow pictures are lovely.

I've done Turbo Tax. It was easy enough. The last couple years I have used the fillable forms on the IRS site. Except for the business corporate return. That one I print out a zillion forms and spread them all out and suffer for days or weeks to try and get it to carry over right. I'm grateful that I have no state or local returns for the personal. The corporation has a Florida return, but it is basically copy from the 1120.

eta: I would use an accountant, but I did get this accounting degree for something. I only use it once a year though and remember why I didn't stay in accounting.

Scrappy, that's really funny.

I honestly don't know what I'd do if I lost power in weather like this. Freak out? Candles and stay in bed I guess. I could cook with the oven, since it is gas and I could light it by hand.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I think this one [link] and this one [link] are my favorites of my snow pictures.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Gorgeous snow photos. Brrrr. I think I'll go make hot chocolate.
