information libertarian

We've used TurboTax online for more than 5 years, and it's so worth it. I just did our taxes - which involve a mortgage and lots of child care and student loan credits and stuff like that - in about an hour.

Our wings are not tired.

I always use Turbo and love it. I am doing my taxes this weekend and will likely have to print out the docs and send it in snail mail because of some investment/charity stuff. That's okay, I just want to get them done.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Silly "Ooh, Yay" moment of the day--I was just reading some Buffista Facebook posts on my way to the scrabble-like games, and there's a comment on one of them from a non-Buffista (I think) that includes the term "inside pants".

hee

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

From BBC News: "Microsoft to patch 17-year-old computer bug." What's the rush? link

At the moment there is no evidence that this latest find is being actively exploited online.

In 3, 2, 1...

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

If the article is correct, the vulnerablity is old, but wasn't known about until two or three weeks ago.

My arms are sore. And I have a pre-blister.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Love the Star Wars rocking out.

sarameg, that is most impressive, both the height of the snow and your shoveling thereof.

I use TurboTax online for free.

Oof. I went to a comic signing (Jim Rugg - Street Angel) and ate too much lamb shank. Now laundry and probable comic reading.

Always Anti-fascist!

I'd love to go drinking with Rachel, but if she drinks whiskey she'd find me a terrible lightweight.

I need to sit down and sort out taxes. Fun.

I'm really wondering if my street will be passable in the near future. Like, this week. It's really insane. Maybe we band together and hire a plow or something.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I went to Pilates this morning, then we went out to buy something to try to snake out our clogged up bathroom drain. After a couple of hours of snaking and sweating and swearing, which included removing the trap and trying to go in that way, and going outside to the clean-out and trying to go in THAT way, we gave up. We called the plumber, who will be coming Monday.

We have a friend's birthday dinner tonight and so now I have to shower and try to make myself look presentable.

My mom and all my VA/MD relatives are all enjoying the snowpocalypse. My brother's power and heat went out. By afternoon, he says the family was gathered in front of the fireplace lazily chatting. Just as my SiL was thinking, "This is really a lovely family moment" the power came back on and their two teenage kids jumped up and RAN to their respective computers like escaping prisoners.
