There are two postings this morning from a doula trying to get to the hospital to be with a client, looking for someone to drive her. While I sympathize with the person having the delivery, I think it's too much to ask to have someone drive in this when you're not the one having the emergency. (We have a 4 wheel drive, so when someone was asking in the subject line, I looked.)

I see my neighbors across the alley out trying to clear a space on their deck. They have a couple of doxies. You could stack'em and the snow would still be taller than those pooches.

I am still regretting leaving my NYC haircutter, because we had finally figured out the right mix of layers and cutting out of the inside, and I was unsuccessful in communicating that to the person here. And I paid the same amount as in NYC. I'm going to have to go to Camberville for a cheap haircut, after hearing what other people are paying.

Why do I have a sore throat again? That is twice since I've moved. I do not approve.

I think I am going to go lie in bed and listen to the radio.

Lots of snow here. Don't know how much, just that it's a lot. We lost power here for a bit during the night. Luckily it was back when we decided to get out of bed.
