Coding and Sleeping

I still have Verizon default. I've thought about doing a Mad Scientist laugh, but I haven't got around to it yet.

I haven't even looked up how you do it, I don't have any data features on our freaky $55 family plan that doesn't appear in Verizon's list of plans.

Exactly! In fact, the first post-argh website redesign I was pulled into was basically "How do we not replicate the insanity of the last redesign process." After the meeting, I sent the project lead that very link.

My ringtone is the theme music for SyFy's Sanctuary. I may have to change it, though. It tends to blend with the background music of other SF shows, so I don't always hear when it goes off at home.

What is your ringtone?

"Riot Act" by Alina Simone.

I think Aeryn may be the name of the new netbook.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

My current ring tone is Mission Impossible.

I have a hard time finding ring tones that are just instrumental. If I forget to silence it at work, I don't want my phone singing. My favorite was when I had Hedwig's Theme. I can't find a version that will work on my current phone.

Actually, knowing the shooting statistics may give people the courage to run away rather than let themselves be intimidated into doing what ever somebody waving a gun says.

My ex, the cop, says most people who threaten with guns think the gun will magically make people do what they say and don't really have a plan B for people who say "no" and run away. Generally, though, attackers with knives are more likely to be mentally committed to violence.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My phone have been TV-themed for a while. I think I had the Mission: Impossible theme too. The wallpaper was a TV with Crockett & Tubbs on it. But I wasn't quite willing to have that ring at work.

Most people with guns also threaten like idiots and don't use the power of the distance weapon. Also, any idiot can cut you with a knife, so they're extra dangerous.

BevMo for the Izze win! With bonus Ting! I'm all soda-ed up. Good call, bon.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Ginger, good to know.

Most people with guns also threaten like idiots and don't use the power of the distance weapon.

"This is why I don't like guns. They have a specific range of efficacy. Most people make one mistake - they get too close."

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Please tell me you changed to Pretty Fly for a White Guy

I wish I did!

My first cell-phone (I was a late adopter) was a nokia which had some sort of midi-type software so you could program your own rigs, and I made the Buffy theme. That was my favorite ring ever, and no other phone I have ever had had that capability.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

My ringtone is the Sanford & Son theme for The Boy (he works for a scrap yard/industrial recycler [and has hoarder tendencies]), Addams Family theme for any family member, and some generic Nokia tone for everyone else.

Two benadryls, 1 episode of Justice League, and 1 hour of napping later, and my head hurts less (if I had to quantify it, I'd say maybe 25% less). So I might eat some cereal, watch more Justice League, and try for more napping.
