Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Crazy Cat Lady Board Game

You can never have too many cats? Or can you? Nope. In this exciting board game you attempt to collect more cats than your fellow competitors as you make your way around the board. Gain more cats by landing on spaces like "Save a Cat Stuck in a Tree" and "Rescue Grumpy Old Cat From Pound." But watch out for spaces that take cats from you like "Beware of Dog" and "Kitten Distracted by Bit of Fluff."

You can send that snow here if you want. I'm down with it.

Because books.

It's suddenly all blizzard-like outside here, too. Ben may get a snow day for his birthday tomorrow if this keeps up.

You bite your tongue! Too much snow here as it is. I want to see dead grass on the lawn, not white fluffy stuff.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

That weather forecast makes me sad. We've got tickets to a concert Friday night in Baltimore. It's a performer we haven't seen in a few years. Sigh...

CJ is making dinner tonight. Chili. He is at the "brown the beef" stage right now.

I have done something to my neck. Both sides, kinda where the lymph nodes are HURT. But it isn't node hurt, more muscle hurt. Turning my head is not fun. I think I'm skipping karate tonight.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wow, we don't have any significant snow in the forecast.

I went to the grocery store tonight to get a few things. I got cream so I could make scones, cheese for mac and cheese. I already had wine :)

It's nice to have a neighborhood store where people know you and say hi and remember the last time you were in.

I love that, Vortex. My hardware store remembered that last time I was in, they forgot to ring up my discount, and so gave me 50% off. It saved me lot more than I would've originally.

meara, I know you've got plenty of folks up here, but if you get stuck, I have a spare room!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I so don't have stores like that--well, one pharmacist knows my name to look stuff up without asking me. It's so not the same thing.

Bought new shoes. Now I need to find a shoemaker, since I buy character shoes and need them soled for the real world. There must be one near the office. There's one of everything near the office. I used to work in the same building as one. That was handy.

Must also cook that damned chicken today. Should use the yoghurt too. Indian food here I come. And Leverage in half an hour. Whee!
