"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

At least her songs seem to have a tune.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

And lyrics either inane ("He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar, the only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star") or nonsensical ("You were Romeo, I was the scarlet letter, and my daddy said stay away from Juliet.")

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

It is like unto a possum at the window in this regard.

Heh. Indeed it is.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Mostly, but with at least one exception:

Maybe she didn't write it?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I'm mostly confused by the appeal of Taylor Swift. My reaction is mostly, "Huh. Really?" I don't get it.

Her phrasing is ATROCIOUS. (By which I mean her breath pattern.) She is adorable, though.

She is very pretty.

Though I wonder how she'll accept awards after that doe-eyed "Me? Oh gosh ME?!?!?" thing wears off. I think its sincere now, but if it never goes away... that'd be pretty weak.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was reading up on HeLa the other day. Apparently there are some who think that her cells have speciated, because their persistence is so much more than normal cells display and the aberrant number of chromosomes. Also, they have contaminated so many samples of cells across the world. Up to 20% of in vitro cell lines might be partly her, the line is that vigourous.

There's more HeLa biomass than Henrietta Lacks weighed when she was alive.

Okay, let me try going back to sleep.

(had a crush on DMB)

That's kind of spooky.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I've decided I don't think Taylor Swift's face is actually pretty, but she presents with so many things that are "attractive" in our culture that she comes across pretty.

Art Crawl!!!

That's interesting. I have to admit - I'm not sure that I'd recognize Taylor Swift if I saw her picture.
