Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

Because books.

All kinds of ~ma for JZ.

I've tried some nasal spray, Burrell, with various results. I just want summer at this point. Or, like, a huge blizzard to kill the pollen.

brillig

It's probably too young for me,

I once tried a dress on, and the saleswoman said, "Oh, I looks a little old on you." I said, "Really? Great! I'm 21 years old, I want a grown-up dress." "Oh," she said, "I thought you were 17."

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Fingers crossed for JZ.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

~ma for JZ. Why do some stupid people have to be so mean?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's a great dress, Perkins!

In the face of other's rough days, I feel a little bad that I am actually awake and might be able to get something done today. First time this week, sadly.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good luck, JZ!

I win at lunch because I am going to have BK with the Scola.

Dag -- I was thinking I might win at lunch, because it's burrito day in the cafeteria. You guys, I've never worked anywhere with a cafeteria!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Why do some stupid people have to be so mean?

Seriously. There should be a rule that you can be either stupid or mean but never both at the same time.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I just finished breakfast. And yes, I'm at work, so it's not like I woke up 15 minutes ago and am slounged on the couch eating a bowl of Count Chocula.

I made my oatmeal when I got to work, and I've been so piled under articles that I just had a spoonful here and there, and the next thing I knew it was noon.

I'm a grumpysaurus today.
