Never mind-- I think I just answered my own question. It's the first entry in Merriam-Webster.
OMG OMG. I was just offered a job. At slightly less than I was making before to start, to go up to what I was making before in 4-6 months. It's really a minor difference. Of course, I was hoping to get a bump up, but Boston v. NYC, blah blah blah. I can't figure out how much of an issue I should make of the salary thing. Ask that the goal amount be higher?
