I'm supposed to deliver you to the Master now. There's this whole deal where I get to be immortal. Are you cool with that?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Happy Birthday, Allyson! I got a Dutch oven for the same reason. I tried it once and then got distracted by something shiny, so the oven's just sitting under the sink. I need to try making the bread again.

-t, I am sorry to have disparaged your oak country kitchen. In Rochester mid-priced houses, it seems the trend to add cheap, apartment quality faux wood oak cabinets to a house before selling and tout it as a "new remodled kitchen"

Does anyone have any thoughts on True Blood. Is it worth paying for to watch? I am out of teevee.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Does anyone have any thoughts on True Blood.

I read the first book, and it was only OK to me. I have problems with overly descriptive clothing in books.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I failed at cardio this week, although I've lifted weights, walked a ton, and carried heavy things while walking, so it could be worse. I definitely need to do some yoga, but not until after I've slept for about 12 hours.

I suspect that I haven't been consuming enough calories for my activity level.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can't stop reading those Sookie Stackhouse books. It's a real problem -- I just got two from the library and have to put more on hold ASAP. They aren't even that good!

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I am watching an episode of Clean House, and I want to smack these people. And clean my house.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Allyson!

Got my ears pierced the first time when I was 8. I think it was at a jewelry store. (The only thing I remember about it was that I wasn't able to wear these neat clip-on earrings with my Purim costume because I had just gotten the piercings)

Second set was done when I was 35, in a Claire's.

Jesse- Do they stop being all like, "I needed to dress up, so I chose some slacks that I hardly ever wear, and a blouse that buttoned to my collarbone, to cover any marks..."

Not really. Although sometimes she changes out of her white polo shirt uniform and into a slinky dress.
