We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

Sophia, I like the Cape Cod house you linked to. Wood floors! And it would probably go for around $200,000 here in the NC Triangle.

Massive amounts of bobma!

DH is having Franny read In the Night Kitchen to Isaac.

According to family lore, that was the first book I read by myself! I have a framed poster of it that I need to hang.

Should I alert you guys next time Zoya tweets one of their killer deals?

HELL YES.

My nails are such a wreck now. I really need a (better) formaldehyde free base coat. Between Nail Envy and a week volunteering in New Orleans, they'd make Plei weep copious tears.

...I really ought to do a housewarming. Especially since I have all these new friends. But I've never thrown a party, so...

Go party! Choose party! Not that I can come, but it just seems right.

Damn, now I want to go to Santa Fe.

I found this note from mac while cleaning through stuff last night. I plan to frame it and put it in my bathroom at the new house. [link]

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

msbelle- the area around the medical center is nice, but is more expensive, I think.

Amy- the housing prices in Rochester are generally low in the city and higher in the suburbs (but no where near other places prices) The city schools have a reputation for being very bad (although there are really good pockets), so it is harder to find a house in the city with kids.

ETA- the medical center and the university campus are right next to each other- so there is not too much difference.

This is the most expensive house (single family) in the city search. It doesn't look like much, but it is in a really really nice area. This is a nicer house, but kinda in the hood [link]

In contrast, this is a nearby suburb (a rather ritzy one) [link]
