I miss my local farmers' market. it's about 5 blocks away on Sunday mornings. Really nice walk and a good selection. It's open from Marchish to November.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I know Portland is awesome but I miss the Farmer's Market in Hillcrest in San Diego something awful. It was my favorite Sunday morning ritual.

hivemind help for what would have been the style of door knobs on a 1960s traditional house. They are all polished brass now and I kinda hate them.

Our wings are not tired.

msbelle, my bungalow is 1940s, and the doorknobs are original and....brass. Or maybe copper? But they're not polished.

“Not dead yet!”

Cut glass, maybe, msbelle? Or a polished stainless steel, depending on the overall style of the house.

Yeah, I was just going to say, house before this was a 1957 ranch and the doorknobs were cut glass.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Odd. In NC, 1950s-70s ranches had shiny brass-plated doorknobs. Like this one.

The 1940s cottage where I grew up had these.
