“Not dead yet!”

But, even so, why no "Cast Your Fate To The Wind"?). His music always feels exactly like skating to me.

I've seen "Linus & Lucy" used for exhibitions, but I have no idea why it's not more popular overall and "Cast Your Fate to the Wind" is sheer perfection.

I honestly don't even know why Brubeck doesn't get used more often either-- You want to show off some fancy footwork, Brubeck's a great choice. I can't remember who it was, a couple of years ago, but they skated to "Treat" by Santana and it was absolutely marvelous. I thought it was Davis and White, but a look at their recent programs doesn't seem to indicate that.

I was thinking maybe social work students.

my brother thought police cadets.

Jessica, if you don't mind, that would be great.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

my brother thought police cadets.

I feel like they may be a little busier than your typical undergrad.... Although also probably tougher, so there is that!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

No travel plans for me this weekend. My friend just called saying she had a 102 fever and had to cancel. I wasn't looking forward to driving more hours than I'd slept the night before, but I am sad I won't see her.

I think I'll drown my sorrows in a pedicure.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, Brubeck would also be perfection. I love my local jazz boys, oh yes.

Somewhere I have a CD he recorded just a few years ago with his original band plus at least one and maybe two sons. Just gorgeous - 70 or 80 minutes of fantastic music that nobody ever, ever uses.

my other thought was self-defense and/or martial arts teachers.

good to know the sarcastic humor never goes away, huh.

ok, am dressed. plastic bags inside the boots and I am heading out for coffee and donuts. The home brew is not doing it for me this morning, also if I take some trips outdoors there is less of a chance that I erupt. at least that is my thinking. maybe I will stop random people on the street and yell at them "what the fuck were you thinking?!?"

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I think I'll drown my sorrows in a pedicure.

Sounds like a good plan. Now to find a Bomer lookalike aesthetician...

“Not dead yet!”

It's part of the reason I was nearly weeping with joy when Amanda Evora and Mark Ladwig skated to the themes from Love Actually for their short program. Lovely music, totally appropriate and most of all, DIFFERENT!

Why live in New York if you can't do that kind of thing? I mean, seriously.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hee. I started to post something along those lines, but Jesse said it better. And anyway, probably they did something where they don't know what the fuck they were thinking. It's a public service!
