That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Pairs was in the first week.

Well, I think the district will be pissed with us, mostly. I sent back the request for testing to the school via school mail, which is a big tell. And I said that a psychologist is fine to do all the testing except for motorsensory stuff which has to be an OT, as I've requested. That may delay this process. But they have to do it within 90 days of the request and it's almost been that.

We might bring K's union rep who is a special ed teacher to sit in on the IEP with us because he's a blowhard and will advocate for Grace.

ChiKat, so the cupcakes work. The toffee and the maple I can totally see. The bacon confuses me and I LOVE bacon.

Because books.

Wow, I completely missed that.

They do work. The salty of the bacon accents the toffee and chocolate. I do think there's not enough of the salty which is why I'd add another strip of bacon. The recipe calls for 3 1/2 strips. I put in 4. Next time, 5. Keeping it at 4 make it more subtle.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It is the only thing he lies to me about,

That's kind of a deal breaker.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Grace? Coming home this May!

Woohoo! That's so exciting!

I just read 700 posts of the Zoe thing. Oh man. I was supremely pissed at being called Orwellian.

Ha! I've been reading the Mieske thing. Crazy wacky fun. I think I had recently started lurking when original ban went down. I haven't reached the Schmoker part yet. I remember seeing posts from him as a newbie.

YAY GRACIE! Oh, that's so exciting!

ION, why is it so damn hard to find pink lace or crocheted tights? Or white ones that I can toss in a dye bath? Ridiculous, I tell you.

Jilli, these are some cotton-- like 70%. Would they dye? [link]

Kat, I have those open in another tab! Yes, they would dye, but I was hoping not to pay $20 for crocheted or lace-patterned tights. Otherwise I'd be handing my money over to Sock Dreams right away.
