Gin recommendation?
There's a lot of variety with gin so it depends on your preference. Since you actively dislike it that might be moot.
I like Tanqueray as a classic brand. Junipero, 209, No. 10 are more upscale brands. Serious mixologists disdain Bombay Sapphire.
But I think if you're going to have one gin I'd recommend you get Broker's Gin which really does come with a tiny bowler on the bottlecap. (Also, it's a excellent gin.)
I totally bet you don't know the other guy's name either.
Yeah, but he's new! This guy has been on like a full season already!
Damn people, my best friend got me sick on gin literally 20 years ago (egad!), and I still can't drink it. Don't even like to smell it.
The Buffy threads at TT predate "Don't startle the Buffistas" for sure. I want to say that was around Buffy 3?

See, you're totally forgetting
the other
guy who came on with pretty-eyes. What's his name? Crinkle-brow?
Hmm. I'll probably go Tanqueray.
I don't even know who you're talking about now. Of the Mercy West people, I only know the annoying girl and this guy.
I love how after all these weeks, I still apparently refuse to go on imdb for actual information.

Agree with David that there's a lot of variety with gin. And different ones are good for different things.
Bon Appétit
did a round-up around the time I moved so I've been tasting a few. I haven't liked 209 in gin & tonics.
My latest bottle is TJ's brand which was on their budget value list. I haven't tried it yet though.

I agree with the first part and take exception to the second. I consider my husband a serious mixologist (He's been doing it nearly 2 decades now) and Sapphire is one of his favorites.
