But that's just my point! You she obeys! She obeys you! There's obeying going on right under my nose!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

ita, would it be easy to check the server log to see how many people ended up here from io9?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't have a copy of WebTrends anymore, but I can peek by hand. Maybe the webhost has a parser.

Oh, look--The Wire is in my queue. At 200-something. Let me bump the first disc higher and see what the noise is about.

I just started watching The Wire. I think I've only made it through 2 discs because of The Busy but I'm enjoying it well enough. It's funny to recognize places. Wonder if season 1 has my old apartment complex in it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I still haven't seen the last season of The Wire, and should really re-watch the whole thing without commercials and with all of season 2 -- I was watching it on BET and most seasons they ran each episode as 1.5 hours instead of cutting stuff out, but they chopped the second season episodes.

Because books.

It the primary colors full set from the 1940's 4 bowls that set inside each other, round, not the later style with handles.

::squeaks with happiness::

Let me know before you get rid of them? I would ... probably be willing to pay way too much for them.

I will not gouge you for money. They were a gift years agoa nd although I love them, I have amassed quite a collection of pink and turquoise ones that better match my kitchen. Let me look into how much postage would be to ship them safely and we'll work something out.

Something struck me in reading that io9 article. Didn't Gus claim to be (in addition to Somali and Irish) a Traveler?

Someone pointed out upthread that Fast Eddie also claims to be an Irish Traveller.

I gave my mother and stepfather The Wire season 1 for Xmas, with a little trepidation because of the cussin' and violence, but they loved it.
