It's called a blaster, Will, a word that tends to discourage experimentation. Now, if it were called the Orgasmater, I'd be the first to try your basic button press approach.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wonder if any of my original entries are still up over there.

I can't even remember what entries I made! I did bump into tv tropes during a vanity google a couple months ago, and they only pay the most tentative of lip service to "ita moon" having anything to do with me, so you know, I should either correct it or shun them entirely.

Still deciding.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

It's just all so confusing.

Indeed.

Yeah, I wouldn't be able to remember either.

Huh. That's so weird to be responsible for building a big chunk of the backbone over there. I never go there or think about it any more.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

But I'm letting it go, I swear.

Tell me how? I swear I want to just ignore it and let it drift off, ignored. But it gets all confusing in my head.

I never go there or think about it any more.

I never go there. But it'll get brought up and then I think to much. And find it hard to explain to those people Not Us why I don't go there. I don't even posit that they shouldn't, just that I don't.

Ugh, board drama.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Reading the beginning of Bureau 1 is kind of charming. It like you moved in and before you were even done unpacking you needed a new Natter thread.

Our wings are not tired.

You guys, I've been reading some of Bureau 1 too.

Some of you have changed. A lot.

Not there yet. Besides, I was around for that.

Heh. I just mentioned Zoe because discussion of her was right at the top for me when I first clicked on the thread. I only just noticed you were specifically talking about the very beginning, which I'm reading now. And yeah, holy crap is everybody adorable.

Our wings are not tired.

I started reading this board in January of 2005. I didn't realize it, but I guess that was around the time of the Gus thing? I vaguely recall people mentioning it on Deb's board (or maybe I read about it somewhere else? I think a thesis paper I found Googling years ago?? Now I am addled).
