Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Silly spell checker makes me right click to add far too often.

I switched my language to English/UK, and it doesn't care. Bastidge.

I kinda emailed Annalee too. I should have just stayed out of it, but I couldn't. And she doesn't know me from Eve.

The thing about Gus was, yeah, his backstory was kind of incredible. But then, so is ita's (Jamaican daughter of a research scientist, can kill you with her pinky, old friend of CFerg?). Or Jilli's (would *you* believe in her if you hadn't seen her?). Or Jon B.'s (silver. pleather. thereminist. actuary. in a White Castle commercial). I mean, any decent writer could turn half of us into Mary Sues without too much effort.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What you didn't know is that "ita" is actually a series of 13 year old boys at a private school in Michigan.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

As one ages out of 8th grade, a new one takes over.

Always Anti-fascist!

Well, I don't feel *scammed* exactly, but he did intrude upon my heartstrings at one time, which was a manipulation. I do wonder about the person I spent that time talking to...was anything that we discussed for real?(Luckily, it was never that intimate, so I only feel slightly exposed, but the potential was certainly there.) But I don't care to ever talk to whoever's left...they all had their chance. The thing is, it was a hard catch because Buffistas(not generally me, but as a community,) do colorful things.

Difference is, "ita" has hired a talented actress to front for her posts, and our 7-foot crippled scientist (what was his specialty again?) Gus kept finding reason after reason to rescind opportunities to meet him. I started making bets with myself about anyone actually meeting the guy, and you know how that turned out.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Well, everyone tells me I'm a cartoon character.

What you didn't know is that "ita" is actually a series of 13 year old boys at a private school in Michigan.

I knew it!

Having actually interacted with 13 year old boys on the internet (I staff a public chat help service), I can assure you that ita is not one.

Exactly. And the actress knows Colin.

Anyway, I do agree that there are more unlikely real people here, and that other people have actually met all of them.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Yeah, but I've met ita, Jilli and Jon B. (And Colin, for that matter, who quite cheerfully vouched for ita's existance and overall awesomeness.)
