That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Maybe this [link] msbelle?

Oh! I had one like that in navy blue.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This is a picture that has some cars for comparison.

It does look freaky next to normal planes, but there are only so many times one can look at that. Or so I'd assumed.

Liese, I have something similar going on, but different joints (mainly my knees) though some cycles it skips. Actually gave me shinsplints one time since I apparently adjust my gait to compensate for floppy joints. It's kind of fascinating, actually.

We had covers like those Scrappy linked to on all the observatory dorm beds. Red, blue, avocado, yellow... I will forever associate them with cinderblock walls, hurricane lamps and Tang.

hip deep in pie

I was thinking of something like what Scrappy posted, but with all ridges or cording.

Someone needs to tell Vermont Country Store that Opera does indeed run Javascript. I do hate when they get their excuses muddled. Not supporting JS isn't the same thing as being an unsupported browser.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Augh. Bayistas: like your bar's housemade vodka/rum/whatever infusion? Or sangria at a tapas joint? Or the punch at Hobson's Choice? Too bad, ABC says it's illegal: [link]

The California Alcoholic Beverage Control is cracking down on people who "adulterate" spirits by making limoncello and infusing spirits with herbs or fruit.

Fucking ridiculous.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I saw that article and almost borked.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I don't even drink and I think that's stupid.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had some awesome house-made chile vokda last night, in a cocktail with ginger and I forget what else. The server almost didn't let me order it, the guy who delivered it was like, "Hope you like spicy!" and then the server watched while I took the first sip. It was hot, but not bananas hot.
