That link makes me sick to my stomach. My miscarriage last year was ~16 wks. I did not know I was pregnant (I have wild fluctuations in my cycle-My Days right now thinks my next period is 58 days away-I figured fatigue was depression from being out of work and some other stuff), so I didn't know not to drink at our St. Pat's party, or at any other time. I didn't know to avoid whatever things are bad for pregnant women. I had been told that was something I was unlikely to ever have to worry about.
The whole thing was traumatic enough as it was without someone then making me a criminal, or making a criminal out of the people who helped me through it.
msbelle, have you tried the addictive color toy on the Behr paint web site [link] You pick a main color and it keeps offering different color combinations.
Does everyone have dreams as weird as this?
The other morning I dreamed Julia Child was a vampire. Her face was covered with blood and she was saying, "That's lovely."
Thank goodness, Connie. That anyone could get that idea in their heads and think it is anything but insane, chills me to the bone.
Oh DJ, what a horrible thought. What a horrid law.
Jeebus.
ION, they're advertising krill supplements on my teevee. So apparently someone's finally going after the coveted Zoidberg market segment?
smonster, I'm not a fan of the show, but those credits remind me an awful lot of mid to north west Louisiana.
Hmm, I'll take your word for it. To me it read like "how many offensive cliches about the South can we cram into XX seconds?"
I do like the song, though.

The impetus for this bill was a pregnant teenager paying someone to beat her up in hopes of triggering a miscarriage. Which tells you how fucked up sex ed/pregnancy options are in this state. Because it's more acceptable to get beat up than to get proper medical help. Unfortunately not enough legislators are seeing the absolute inanity of the bill.
That said, if you just think the possibility exists of being pregnant, you might not want to come to Utah. If this passes, it's going to be even a worse place to be a woman.
I can't even respond to the Utah miscarriage bill. It's so far beyond inhumane.
House inspection went well. A couple of circuit breakers were double loaded or something, so they want to add breaks, and they want to put those self-breakering plug things in the kitchen and baths. The house needs insulation, but we expected that. The garage door opener is an old one, so they want a newer one with the safety features. That's it.
That's it? That's fantastic!!
