maybe walls that leaf green color, as warm of a tone of that shade as I can?
I was going to suggest some kind of green.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Finally watched the rest of the ice dancing. Really hated the idea of the Russian costumes and do hope they come up with a rule against that. I think there should be a moratorium on the use of both Firebird and Phantom of the Opera. Also, "The Impossible Dream", but I think that the combination of Jacques Brel with that song is just perfect.

Mother Nature really needs to get with the Head & Shoulders regimen.

I thought that was so wrong, and was surprised there wasn't already a rule about it.

What would the rule say?
It seems to me like the sort of gray area, and in a creative endeavor at that, that might not warrant a rule. However, widespread public disapproval ought to make everyone a bit more conscious about what they're doing.
I was initially bummed by the Phantom choice, but they were SO delightful and heart-felt and just beautiful when they skated. I could just imagine them going to their coach:
We want to do Phantom!
You're not doing Phantom.
But we could to THIS! And THIS! And twizzle HERE...
Everyone does Phantom.
We'll have a big fling HERE! And then...
and charming their coach the way they charmed me. They were just so in sync with and trusting of each other.
What would the rule say?
You can't use costume elements for holds.
Or are we talking about the blackface? I don't know if you can have a "GET A CLUE" rule.

To be clear, I'm talking about the rope free dance costumes (where they use the ropes to assist them in lifts and poses) and not the (even worse) aboriginal original dance costumes.
