I caught her on a park bench, making out with a *chaos* demon! Have you ever seen a chaos demon? They're all slime and antlers.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I don't want to go into reality because I am not gonna see SYTYCD until later, but I am watching The Biggest Loser finale and again I think some people, or at least one has lost too much weight.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's really pretty. My hematite ring was made entirely of hematite, and was therefore not long for this world. The two rings I ever wear these days--one's a big cabochon garnet in an antiqued silver braid, and the other is a big silver X. I fidget for them sometimes when they're not on, but I never wear them around the house, and I take them off to wash my hands or put on lotion, so there are so many opportunities to lose them.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, as I probably could have predicted, I lamed out on the post-election party. Well, I walked in and walked out. My buddy went home to change, and I just could not deal with a room full of people I don't know. Ah well.

When I take this ring and the garnet one off for the pool, it feels weird. I think my neuroticism about having the garnet in the shop was well documented here.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

ita, your garnet ring sounds gorgeous. I love garnets. I have a garnet necklace that I bought in Florence that I love.

I don't like most smelly candles, but I do like Pacifica candles. Mmm. Burning Zanzibar Cinnamon Almond right now. My fave is their Mexican Chocolate.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I have a hematite ring as a toe ring and am shocked it hasn't broken yet. And I've been wearing it for years. Seven of them, in fact.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I don't really wear jewelry-- I wear scarves and a of of other color, and I think jewelry might be Too Much. ANd I tend to like cheap jewelry-- sterling silver, onyx, marcasite and rhinestones. I do still miss my grandma's onyx ring, which actually was torn off my finger when I worked in a grocery store and was dumping a giant barrel of returned pop cans into an even more giant container. And then it was in a giant container of pop cans, never to be found.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My fave is their Mexican Chocolate.

Ummm. I don't think I could deal with that. My sister gave me a pumpkin pie or somesuch candle a few years ago, and it took me weeks to figure out why I was so hungry all the time.

I wear earrings, always. And my rings and a watch. I have a ton of necklaces I don't wear, but wish I would but that requires more thought than I am able to put together. Besides, I'm weird about stuff resting on my neck (I can't wear normal tshirts, and turtlenecks are a necessary evil only when it is bloody cold), so it can be really irritating sometimes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have a ton of garnet jewelry, as befits a January baby. One of my favourites that I don't wear much is a garnet cord. It's just a long strand of small garnet beads, 60+ inches long, with antiqued silver (there might be a trend here) spacers. Doesn't fasten or anything. I just loop it around and pay attention to it all night.

In fact, I think most of my garnet jewelry is with antiqued silver, now that I think about it. I'm boring and/or easy to shop for.

Another black stone I like, that my mother introduced me to when I told her "black and silver jewelry for Christmas, please" was marcasite. I don't usually do the faceted stuff, but I love the really tiny light effects this stone has. It almost looks like super-antiqued silver in some settings. She got me some lovely stuff. She has a really good eye. My sister and I tend to fight Christmas mornings over who gets what.
