Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Also, you might be able to find it cheaper outside of campus. Lord knows they gouge GW kids.

I'ts about $7 at Gristide's fwiw.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I think I've seen it for about $8 at Whole Foods.

What I really want to use this stuff for is eggplant parmesan. But if I'm using a good sauce, I should also use a good cheese, and the one that I want is only available at a store in Rockville. t /ridiculous first-word problems

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

This is my dream ring [link]

Ooh, pretty. But way too delicate for me. Both practically and stylistically.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I'd like that cabochon ring in a sapphire. I think something like that looks good with fancy clothes or simple. And what do you know, they have one. [link]

As for the owl ring, I think I may have just found what KBD is getting me for Xmas.

Watching "The Giant Gila Monster" right now, AIFG!

"I sing whenever I sing whenever I sing."

I really like that one. The movie has so many storylines that the Gila Monster is more of a subplot.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

My engagement ring is a diamond ring. When G was starting to look for rings I told him diamonds weren't necessary (I'm part magpie, so anything shiny would work :) ) but he wanted to be "traditional".

I know, I know, but what can you do? (It is a pretty ring)

Very pro cabuchon rings. Any not-poky setting and I'm happy.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I like the inset stones, also. I have some very pretty rings that I just can't wear because they caught on too many damn things.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The sun is sliding below the horizon. The warmth I was basking in lizard-like is gone. I am so glad I conned my sister out of this kikoy when we were in Kenya. Normally I don't combine colours much, but despite this having bright green and yellow on a black background it goes with a great deal of what I have, including (I swear) today's purple top. I keep this one in the car for days like this one, where I didn't figure it cold enough for a jacket (but I probably should have).

This [link] is my hematite ring. We originally gave it to my grandmother, purchased somewhere in NM. When she died, it came back to me.
