You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

are engagement rings REALLY supposed to be three months salary?!

Pretty sure DeBeers or Kay made that one up.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

NO! This is a DeBeers scam. Things they do not also have to be:
diamond
solitaire
expensive

The amazing thing is that they managed to make it go up from two to three months not that long ago.

Most other countries managed to get people married just fine without the marital industrial complex.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, my gosh, good. I'm all "Really? REALLY?! Holy crap, that's a lot of money."

Beause I think that that $6oo emerald is a lot of money, yet is perfect for what I would see as what I would want to wear daily.

I have NO desire for a diamond, zero. I like green!!

I would not wear a white gown, either. Totally something colored and cocktaily.

Oh, Jesus, I'm having wedding fantasies; apparently, I have just entered puberty.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

My ring is a sapphire. Works just fine.

I have a gf whose ring is a sapphire. It's very pretty.

MOst of my gf's, although they are not traditional, per se, have very traditional rings. It's funny.

I would also keep my last name, although it surprises me more when women change it, nowadays. I see a lot more of that than colored dresses or rings.

Just as an FYI, emeralds are the most fragile of the Big 4.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My mother's tiny emerald has worked for more than 40 years!
