It was the precursor to cauliflower-leek soup. After you soften up the oniony and garlic stuff, break up a head of cauliflower, cover with stock (I used veggie this time, but I prefer chicken. Live and learn) and boil till soft. Then blend till smooth. Add cream, salt and parm to taste. I usually skip the cream. Awesome post-dental work food. Filling and soft.

Yum. How are the teeth doing?
Gums, jaw and tongue way sore. Temp crowns? Fine. Good sign so far. I'm wary about needing another root canal, despite vicodin bottle in the cabinet. (I've never taken anything stronger than advil, kinda don't want to find out a new weird reaction to painkillers.)
I'll not be opening my mouth wide for a bit. Swim will be interesting, cause I tend to do so then, plus my whole neck is sore from reaction.
Castle tonight has two actors from other shows. It's like Buffy and Topanga could walk in at any minute.
I just spent 2 hours on the phone with my mom. 3 school that I swear she had told me were no good are actually back in the mix - that opens up neighborhoods with older house I really like. Whee!
Temp crowns? Fine. Good sign so far.
Excellent. I hope the sore eases quickly.
Damm. I'm in bed, but I skipped dinner (got home @ 10:30) and only had a salad (granted, a biggish one) for lunch a hundred hours ago and I am possibly too hungry to ignore it and sleep. I'm not trying to starve myself, I am just really tired and LAZY. But I think I need to go scramble some eggs. Feh.
Sorry for the sore mouth, sarameg. And the sore head, ita.
I am such a Christmas fail this year. I'd be grumpy about it, but the truth is no one to blame but me.
My mother zipped 2 kittens into her sweatshirt and loosed a third.
They are never gonna sleep tonight.
JenP, I adored The Two Live Crew Job beyond reason. I think the season had really gotten up to speed by then.
I think my headache is gone, but I don't want to dwell on it. It just needs to stay that way.
Thanks, ita - I don't think I've seen it, so I will seek it out. Not dwelling, but I hope the thing you were talking about stays away, too. Far away.
Scrambled eggs eaten; feel better; sleep now, I think.
