Sparky needs to tell the story about being in a restaurant with her friend's kid.

Now tagless for your comfort.

So, I'm thinking that speech therapy worked too well with Noah. Today, while we were in the bathroom of the Aquarium, after he and I used the bathroom he said to me, "Good Job, Mom! You held your pee-pee! You peed in the pot!"

Bwahahaha! Been there, done that!

Oh no, I knew what you meant. I was just extrapolating that not only is he episcopal-gay-married, he was episcopal-straight-married then episcopal-straight-divorced and THEN episcopal-gay-married...

I'd totally take marriage counseliing from this guy!

After four days of solo parenting, the kids have ridden their scooters all over the house and are both asleep in our bed. I'm pretty sure I'd make for a shitty single parent. But only three more days until DH gets home.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Aw, Noah's using positive reinforcement. That's so sweet.

IOEpiscopalN, I finally got back to church yesterday. Lots if people welcomed me back very warmly, including some I didn't know knew my name. Man, I really had the greatest weekend, excluding some drama Friday night.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Emeline's "Good girl, Daddy!" is still the best positive reinforcement evah, I say.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

This morning I woke up and remembered, for the first time in weeks, that I had jury duty sometime this week. After a frantic search, found the summons and it's for tomorrow. At least I didn't remember on Wednesday....

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It's a fucking winter wonderland outside. Guess I won't be riding my bike to work today....

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

"Good Job, Mom! You held your pee-pee! You peed in the pot!"

Bwahaha!

I am in total denial about potty training. (My mother tells me that this is fine because D will regress when the new baby is born anyway, but I still feel like I should at least be attempting to make some progress before then. Oh well.)

hip deep in pie

Also, is anyone else disturbed that Hec was first with a requested cat info and link?

I was quite chuffed.

"Good Job, Mom! You held your pee-pee! You peed in the pot!"

Hysterical.

The barista at Starbucks offered me an extra shot of espresso this morning and I said no. What was I thinking?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I cannot decide what to do with my days off. I have 4.5 days left this year and I can roll over up to 3. I have just put in for 2.5 before Christmas. So the remaining 2? Take 1 or both the week after Christmas while mac is in care? or rollover so I will have extra days in the 6 months before the move (since I only get 11 days/year)?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I vote roll over -- you'll want the time.

My random issue of the day: I seem to be doing something in my sleep that works my deltoids. What could it beeeee?
