Oh, I wish those council guys would let me have an hour alone in the room with her, if I was larger and had grenades.

Of all the people I expected to answer that... and with a picture, no less. Heh. Thanks, Hec.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I thought that the second season picked up around episode 4 and has the funniest ep of the series.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

What Jesse said. I'm pretty sure Gene Robinson is "married". (Scare quotes sadly intentional.)

Not just "married", iirc, he was already a priest (or in seminary) when he married his wife and thought he could make himself straight that way. After more than a decade and I think two kids they decided it was wrong and he was gay. They divorced and actually had a divorce ceremony (Episcopalians are big on all kinds of "Occasional Services" -- for occasionas, not occasionally and the divorce service is either in an edition or people are lobbying for it [link] remained the closest of friends and I believe she gave him away when he "married" (again, a religious ceremony) his partner. All the while openly doing so, warmly supported by his pinko parish, and continue to climb up through the ranks in the church.

Gene Robinson is badass.

I've only seen about ten Leverage eps, and kind of out of order. I love the show, though. I should do a marathon in order. Their chemistry with each other is great and just bounces all around. Love it.

Which was the funniest ep?

What Hec said. Plus, tux#2 has a white mug and an unfortunate hitler mustache. But she's sweet!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, this is creepy, or possibly a sign: Facebook just suggested I become a fan of the place I have an interview about tomorrow.

Let's go with sign. Good omen, even.

Wikipedia's write-up is pretty solid. [link]

He's a very mild man and a gentle spirt but funny and warm. Whenever people (be they fundimentalist Christian or vigorously NOT Christian) try to make some neat little point with the statement, "Well, CHRISTIANS believe _________" I think about him and laugh.
