Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just committed to making cookies for a family event next weekend, let my mother know that there is no way in hell I will have my cousin's Xmas presents ready by then (we won't see them at Christmas itself), and confirmed a gift I just bought for my mother. Good times.

You know, I wish they made lane dividers from the same stuff as pool noodles. Or I didn't drift right. The back of my right hand has at least 3 separate bruises, and at least 2 are multiple bruisings.

hip deep in pie

Cash, I am sorry this has been such a sucktastic day.

I am feeling tired in the that bone tired way the precedes getting sick. I am not happy about this.

My tree is 90% decorated. I can't even tell you how many boxes of ornaments are not even on the tree, it's too embarrassing. I need someone to keep me out of home decorating stores after Xmas.

The cats were total PITAs, trying to jump into boxes of ornaments, walk across a coffee table filled with ornaments, and play with tissue which was wrapped around ornaments. And yet, I am the one that is responsible for beaking three ornaments.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I've come to the conclusion that so far, December can bite me.

cass, we didn't get around to the otters because they are fixing some of the exhibits. We stayed on the ground floor except for the puffins.

It was a great trip.

Then we went to Target and I got the last of my xmas shopping done (cake stand, cake server, pizza cutter) and two xmas books for Noah. Then I got a haircut at Floyd's. K pointed out that the back looks like sara's hair.

So it's short and flippy? I hope that's a good thing!

It is short (like lower chin length) and flippy and no bangs.

Floyd's did a nice job for $26. Does anyone else ever go to Floyds?

I had to work for a couple of hours today, and since they were a later couple of hours, I arrived at lisah's too late to see sarameg (boo), but I got to meet Bob (yay!), who is as awesome as expected, and visit with him and lisah for a bit, which was lovely. I am just so happy to be moving to Baltimore, people. One more week.

Also, I love lisah's kitchen. So pretty.

Nope, but they have a location in the same town as my salon! (Not that I'd ever leave Alison: 10+ years of great, flexible cuts and no decisionmaking. I'd follow her just about anywhere.)
