Giles: I'm sure we're all perfectly safe. Dawn: We're safe. Right. And Spike built a robot Buffy to play checkers with. Tara: It sounded convincing when I thought it.

I also have a hatchet I bought for camping.

And for being our resident online ax murderer. Yeah, yeah, deny it all you want.

Made progress packing yesterday, but still miles to go. So much laundry needs to happen, too.

It's practically a pocket hatchet...it would be pretty inefficient as a axe-murdering tool.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I've been at work since 4:30am. Probably can leave soon. Need pancakes.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ugh, Tom. I hope the rest of your weekend outside of the work days went okay.

I am also excited not to see snow outside my window.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

There is new snow outside my window, and door, and garage...

I need to take the cat to the vet in about an hour. We will see how she likes her carrier. Joy.

Now tagless for your comfort.

We're seriously lacking snow. But we're supposed to get some in the next two days.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We're watching the George C. Scott Christmas Carol this morning. It's my favorite production. Very sumptuous and dark. And his Scrooge is very ironic and wickedly underplayed. As JZ notes, Scott's Scrooge thinks all his meanest lines are very witty.
