Well, that was a waste of a co-pay. IM instead of IV, because the doctor didn't want the nurses to hunt for a vein. And then, despite being still achey and nauseous they wouldn't give me a second shot of anything. I told her IM wasn't as effective for me as IV, but she said they were medically equivalent. Obviously my specialist disagrees, because he specifies IV in my file. Plus, personal history to date and all that.

The reason I couldn't get any more anti-nausea meds was because it was too soon after the first shot. Really? You have a slow ER night and plenty of open beds, and we can't just wait? It's not like I was asking for more narcotics. She's the first doctor on a long list to not just wait, or switch meds.

I got up today and took down my tree and cut a couple of inches off the trunk because I was convinced the tree wasn't drinking water. It wasn't as much as a pain in the ass as I thought it would be and I feel much better.

On the upside the insurance switch went seamlessly, despite there not having been time to deduct from my paycheque yet. So that's one late night worry off my shoulders, and I can get my next med refilled ASAP.

Sue, how tall a tree is it?
