The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I have utterly failed at doing any of the ginourmous pile of work I should probably get done this weekend, which means I will probably be spending all day at the office tomorrow, but I did pull my (PINK!) Christmas tree out of storage and started the process of trying to make Ditaboo completely afraid of going near it.

I don't expect the last part to work at all, but seeing her pout at me is fun.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Babysitter is late and I haven't showered yet.

Snow was kinda uhg. Slushy and blowy and unavoidable. But I shopped and I really need winter boots because slush in the sketchers sucks. Then I came down with a horrific headache on the way home and lay on the couch trying not to move for an hour. Roused to go to the pool, and miraculously, the headache went away. Came home and cleaned the upstairs, and now the headache is trying to come back. Pretty sure it is the weather.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My friend took me to the mall, which was exciting, because it meant no dealing with weather for me! (Aside from taking the bus to their house in the rain.) Driving back in the blizzard was exciting. A blizzard is about wind, right? Because there's not a lot accumulating, but it was blowing horizontal.

Also, somehow when I wasn't looking, I guess someone moved in across the hall? I can't figure out when that would have happened, since I barely leave the house! And I imagine it would have been loud enough for me to notice? Huh.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Maybe it was over TG, which would be around the first of the month?

Maybe -- I was out all day on the Friday, so that could be. Confusing! And maybe he was the goodlooking guy I saw at the front door earlier. I swear I'm the only woman in this building.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I sense Penthouse Forum Letters in the offing.

Yeah, no. I had a friend who had to move when she broke up with her neighbor!

Oooh!

My cold kitchen was bugging me so I just popped in a gingerbread and a pumpkin bread (from a TJs mix.) I added extra pumpkin spice to both. I like the kick. Discovered I left my oven thermometer at the old apartment, most likely. Ah well, another thing I can ask my SIL for...
