Loosies! Good times.
something about roast beef's texture -- the way it's often easy to pull apart, if that makes sense -- that disturbs me, and with cream cheese, it just makes me gag.
Yeah, I can see that. Now I want a salami/cream cheese rollup.
Cream cheese and roast beef, especially if it's nice and juicy, sounds delicious.
Y'all are trying to make me hungry and I am watching the beginning of last night's Fringe. These are not things that go well together. I cannot understand why I watch this show.
hungry.
waiting for dh so we can go to a friends house and eat shepard's pie
he is supposed to be home ten minutes ago. so I am obnoxiously texting him
Text him about the roast beef and cream cheese -- see if he thinks it sounds tasty or gross.
I used to eat that when I worked at the bagel shop. God, nummy. Also a fav was veggie cream cheese (carrots and stuff and herbs) and provolone on a spinach bagel. Spinach with roast beast and cream cheese too. Or proscuitto and cream cheese on a garlic spinach (it was an accident, but the baker knew I loved 'em so always had a couple accidents every day I worked) was awesome...
I am now eating a plain bagel, toasted, with cream cheese. No bacon salt, though. Or roast beef.
You know why I'm not on Twitter? (It just occurred to me.)
I post all my minutiae here.
Sophia, I think you might want to make a short written rebuttal and couple that with your action plan (which will acknowledge the issues they brought up).
From an HR perspective they've started the first step to firing you. They may not, but you need to firm up your position. Show them that you are not defensive but would like to correct some impressions based on phrasing.
You also need to talk to your director and the people who assign work at the theater. Because they're overworking you and it's affecting your dayjob.
Oh, David just said what I just deleted because I was skeered to freak you out. But I think he's right.
I got a verbal warning and fired the next day, and I am sitting here with no insurance and no unemployment, because I can't back up "without cause."
It sucks ass. Your employers ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS. They might be friendly, but they're not.
